How to brush your teeth (adults)
Twice a day for 2 minutes with fluoride toothpaste, gently along the gumline.
- Brush in the morning and always before bed — saliva drops at night.
- Hold the brush at ~45° to the gumline and use short, gentle strokes.
- Cover outer, inner and chewing surfaces, ~30 seconds per quarter of the mouth.
- Use light pressure: plaque is soft and technique matters more than force.
- Spit out toothpaste and rinse only very lightly so fluoride stays on enamel.
⚠️ Bleeding while brushing means keep cleaning gently daily and see a dentist — do not stop brushing.
